Project description

The house is designed by the frame and half-timbered technology. The wall structure: load-bearing frame made of wooden glued half-timbered boards, insulation - ecowool, the lining - sheets greenboard. Exterior facade is made of larch logs of different cross sections and fiber-cement boards. Frameless energy-efficient glazing is inserted directly into the half-timbered columns. Part of the roof is done with a grass roof. In the center of the house is a small atrium with plants. We took advantage of the significant elevation drop on the site and made a cantilevered outcrop of 4.5 meters in length. The house was designed with the possibility of expansion in the future.
